sparrowqueen: Strength from The Alchemical Tarot by Robert Place I highly recommend this deck to all tarot enthusiasts. I received it in the mail about a month ago and it has quickly become my absolute favourite in the collection. The art work is stunning, and the symbols are intuitive to read, but also have multiple layers of meaning if you’re familiar with astrological, alchemical and hermetic symbols. FYI, the deck’s website also does free 3 or 9 card readings. It only gives you brief keywords for each card, but it’s a nice way to get a better sense of the stunning artwork in this deck. My most favorite tarot card.

I was told as a child that I was going to be a late bloomer. I was not brighter like the other children and felt too low to even conversate with them. I never envied those other children but I did play with the ones who made me feel at home. I just thought they were supreme untouchable geniuses. I was told once that when I grew older my little light bulb will click and light up. She was not the only witch that made me cry, they were others…They were no teachers but they claim to be. It is true and I accept it. I am a late bloomer…I just want to know why, Why me? I may not  be an untouchable genius but I can pretend   to  be a bird with a million onyx feathers and fear nothing but self loathing.
